Why or what is going on in the bathroom that makes my 13-year-old have to constantly be in it? Is it a bad colon/bladder? Is she "pleasing" herself? Does she just want to get away from her parents? Drugs? Good god, I don't know, but I think she spends more time in the bathroom than anywhere else.

she is talking to herself about her day, deciding how she should react to things that were said or done to her, either building herself up or tearing herself down, pretending to be all the things she daydreams about, singing into her hairbrush handle - then experimenting with her hair and makeup, checking her body hair for growth or shaving or other needs, seeing if that freckle is really a mole and if eyebrow liner can make it bigger or if she needs to conceal it... and is that FAT?
Been one, and had one. Grin.
