Melamine scandal hits candy makers... I know, you really can't help but buy things made in China, but good god. First it was dog food, cat food, now milk and candy. Poor China...

SCREW China!!!!
No Wal Mart within 150 miles here!
Fresh local milk by the gallon, and cheese and butter too...
And for Halloween, dear children - everone here makes popcorn balls, caramel apples, cookies, etc to give away - no hospital MRIs necessary...
Isn't it about time we got back to what's really important?
You know, I mentioned that to the wife, and she said nobody would eat it if we went through the trouble to actually make some treats. From where we are, we can't get ahead.
She's right... they would throw it away, not even take it to the hospital to be scanned, afraid that you put poison in it. That's what the kids are taught in school and the government preaches, so it must be true.
Of course if you really wanted to save money, you could bake cookies and put alum or something nasty like pickle juice over them - and hand them out with a nasty lecherous smile. You'd only have to hand out packages for about ten minutes until the parents called the cops on their cel phones...
We have a simple rule here - mess with the kids, we will KILL you. Kinda keeps everyone in line.
